Dominican Republic is located in the Caribbean sea, and is the two-thirds of the island of Hispaniola, between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Haiti, at the west, have the one-thirds of the island and between ours countries there are a 275 km boundary.
Our geographic coordinates are: 19 00 N, 70 40 W. We have a total area of 48,730 sq km and our climate is tropical marine, with little seasonal variation in rainfall and temperature.
Our population is over 8 milions and approximatly 40% is under 25 years. Life expectancy at birth is 72 years.

Languages is Spanish but a lot of people speak English, in special the new generation.
